Our Foundation facilitated participation of two disadvantaged children in this year's "Süni" (Hedgie) Nature Lore Camp in Felsőcsatár.
2017. 07. 13.Act Today for Tomorrow Foundation was founded by Hindiné Ódor Mónika in October 2016. The organisation is managed by a three-strong Advisory Board: Dr. W. Farkas László - Chairman; Németh Judit - Member; and Dr. Gyarmati Gizella - Member. Work of the organisation is assisted by volunteers.
Activities of the Foundation focus on two main areas:
- Promoting and encouraging education of disadvantaged children
- Promoting education about eco-friendly lifestyle
In the spirit of the above, activities of the Foundation are based on five pillars, within the framework of which the following programmes have been initiated:
ALMAFÁCSKA (Apple Sapling) - A programme for promoting education about eco-friendly lifestyle for nursery school children
BÚZAVIRÁG (Cornflower) - A programme supporting a Day-Time Nature Lore Camp for the age group between 6 and 11.
SZÍNES KERT (Colourful Garden) - A programme supporting international education of children for the age group between 6 and 14.
TRAMBULIN (Springboard) - A programme supporting and encouraging education for the age group between 12 and 18.
MONA ÖSZTÖNDÍJ (Mona Scholarship) - A programme supporting higher education of the age group between 18 and 23.
